I used to be a cheery and joyfull guy
Then certain things occurred
And now I want to die
I tried to get myself together
But it didn't work out on my own
And now I got myself the clinical blues

My momma left my daddy
When I was just around 17
So he killed her with a hammer
In december 99
He just gave me all his money
And went over the borderline
So i had to go and make it on my own

The first month i was cruizin'
And looking for places to stay
But then i started boozin'
And all my money got away
So i got my act together
And found a job with reasonable pay
And I thought it was gonna be a happy ending

But then I started doing bad things
And I do not know why
I started abusing people
And I started getting high
So they put me in this clinic
And now all I can do is cry
So now I'm stuck with that damn clinical blues

I've been here for 2 years now
Under the supervision of the man
But getting well in my position is something no man can
I will never find a wive
and I'm gonna stay here all my live
with only the company of my clinical blues
